Carrie Fisher fires back at body shamers
Every adult’s favourite princess is speaking out about body image.
Carrie Fisher took to Twitter to respond to trolls who criticized the way she looked in the latest Star Wars movie.
The 59 year old, who plays Princess Leia, tweeted that the comments that have been thrown at her “hurt all 3 of my feelings”.
This is what she said:
“Please stop debating about whether or not I aged well. Unfortunately it hurts all 3 of my feelings. My BODY hasn’t aged as well as I have. Blow us.”
She then went on to say, “Youth and beauty are not accomplishments, they’re the temporary happy by-products of time and/or DNA. Don’t hold your breath for either.”
